Modern Living Room

The following was created by Okino's very own Mark Zadel using the NuGraf Rendering System. The scene uses 25 texture maps of resolution 512x512 or greater, 11 light sources of which 7 cast shadows and all models were created by Mark using Lightwave. Notice the very nice shadows cast by NuGraf's fast shadow mapping process.

Betacam Video Recorder

The last image demonstrates how well the NuGraf Rendering System can import and render scene data from other modeling and animation packages. This scene, including all texture mapping coordinates, texture parameters and texture images were directly imported from a Lightwave file and rendered with NO changes necessary!

This CAD model was created in AutoCAD using AME solids then exported to the NuGraf Rendering System via ACIS SAT for rendering.

Ray Traced 'Donuts'

This is image 2 out of 3 "fun concept art pieces" submitted to Okino by Mr. Jim Mattison (Verity Grafix) who otherwise specializes in the modeling and rendering of CAD/CAM models and/or AEC exteriors/interiors. This was one of the first images Jim created (for fun) using the new multi-threaded ray tracer in NuGraf v2.0.

Ray Traced Ball Bearings

This is image 3 out of 3 "fun concept art pieces" submitted to Okino by Mr. Jim Mattison (Verity Grafix) who otherwise specializes in the modeling and rendering of CAD/CAM models and/or AEC exteriors/interiors. This CAD model was created in AutoCAD using AME solids then exported to the NuGraf Rendering System via ACIS SAT for rendering. This image is an excellent example of the accurate refraction and reflection effects possible with the multi-threaded NuGraf ray tracer. Please note that the Moire patterns seen in this image are due to the heavy JPEG lossy compression performed on this image and not due to the ray tracer.

M84 Hand Held Microphone

This hand held microphone was created and rendered by Jeff Heuel of JPH Industrial Design using Pro/Engineer for modeling and NuGraf for rendering.
