This image was created to illustrate how well texture mapping can create the illusion of reality. The cola can texture maps were created with various 2d illustration and paint packages while the background image was scanned-in from a photographic magazine. The geometry for the cans was created with the NeoVisuals modeling system as NURB surfaces and imported into NuGraf via the IGES converter. The image also demonstrates soft shadows and a planar reflection map.
