Lamp with Transparent Shade

This scene demonstrates transparency and bump mapping techniques.

The lampshade is slightly transparent, showing the glowing bulb (100% luminosity) and the gold lampshade holder.

The lamp base is textured mapped with a 2d marble bitmap. In addition a "dimple" 2d bitmap is used to bump map the base. The demonstrates the ability to layer 2 or more textures on a single surface.

All textures use MIPmap filtering to eliminate texture filtering artifacts.

Six shadow maps are used by the point light source to cast shadows. In addition, a planar reflection map is used for the table top.
