This demonstrates various 3D procedural textures. The model of Venus de Milo was digitized by Mira Imaging, Inc. using their HyperSpace 3d digitizing/modeling system. The model was smoothed using NuGraf's polygon smoothing feature. Data was imported as a dense set of 4200 indexed polygons. The ground is textured using the 'wave' procedural texture; Venus is textured using the 'wildbump' procedure and the sky is textured using NuGraf's realistic sky model (the sky looks very realistic in the original 24-bit image).
