ArcGIS is a family of client, server and online geographic information system (GIS) software developed and maintained by Esri.

Preferred methods to convert from Okino software and into into ArcGIS: DWF-3D, DXF/DWG, Collada, Microstation DGN.

Preferred methods to convert from ArcGIS and into Okino software: ESRI ShapeFiles, Adobe U3D files, DWF-3D, VRML, Microstation DGN, Collada, 3ds (not recommended).

     

HOOPS HSF

The HOOPS Stream File (HSF) file format allows highly compressed files containing 3D data and bitmap images to be streamed over Internet connections of any bandwidth. Okino knows of the HSF file format very well as we have been involved with its evolution since the year 2000.

The legacy HSF file format was created by Ithaca Software in the mid 1980's as an efficient, light weight, compressed 3D visualization format. Thereafter it was adapted and adopted by Tech Soft 3D in the early 2000s for use in other rebranded file formats such as EASM (for SolidWorks), ICS (for IronCAD) and DWF-3D (for Autodesk).
