OpenFlight

OpenFlight is the most widely used file format for visual simulation databases and is supported by dozens of vendors of realtime 3D tools. '3KO' is a 3D voxel/mesh visualization file format designed by NGRAIN Corporation of Canada (previously known as i3Dimensions). It was used with their interactive 3D training solutions for the aerospace, defense, and manufacturing sectors. It is generally a "one way" format from such software packages as 3ds Max and Maya into the NGRAIN software.

Going back in time to the 2003 era, Okino and NGRAIN collaborated on the development of the NGRAIN 3KO exporter within Okino software.
