This simple image illustrates 3D procedural texture mapping. The sphere is covered with a marble texture which has had its colors warped through a colormap. The plane below it is covered with a slowly undulating procedural bump map. NuGraf supports several dozen procedural textures, each of which has numerous parameters that allow thousands of variations to be created.
