The Industry Standard CAD+DCC 3D Translation System for Maya




PolyTrans-for-Maya is one of the most important, production proven and universally used technologies for Maya which allows it to natively convert between all major 3D CAD/MCAD, DCC/Animation, VR/AR (ie. Unity and Unreal Engine), Skinning/Skeleton/Bones & VisSim file formats or 3D programs. No hidden, back-end, external converters or intermediate files are used in the conversion process (as used by other free converters which come with Maya) but rather PolyTrans-for-Maya is connected deeply into Maya's "brain stem".

PolyTrans-for-Maya and its mirror twin PolyTrans-for-3ds-Max have also formed the absolute defacto, and only dedicated, bi-directional conversion system pipeline between Maya and 3ds Max for well over 2 decades. Both are used throughout the world by all major 3ds Max and Maya professional users and production studios.
