Various NuGraf Color Spaces |
This scene was created to illustrate NuGraf's various color models. Colors
can be specified in any number of color models as well as being used as
procedural textures (the 3D geometry coordinates are mapped to the actual
'color space' of the color model). The models used for the cubes (from left to
right) are: YIQ, CIE XYZ, RGB and CMY. The single-ended cone is the
HSV color model and the double-ended cone is the HLS color model. The
wall is covered with the 'clouds' procedural texture which is color warped
using the 'vigneau' color map. The floor is procedurally textured using one of
NuGraf's complex flooring algorithms. In addition, soft shadows and a
reflection map are used.
