Okino software is built entirely around the Microsoft Windows platform and operating
system.
Microsoft Windows minimum system requirements:
Microsoft Windows x86 (32-bits) or x64 (64-bits) Eight/Seven/Vista/XP. Okino provided the first
64-bit 3D program to Microsoft in 1999 and hence our software has been developed for 64-bits since
that time and it is completely stable on the x64 platform.
Preferably 8GB to 16GB of memory.
Any video card, but highly optimized for NVIDIA & ATI/AMD cards (pixel level shaders).
A maximum of 152Mb of free hard disk space.
For Mac OS X, any good Microsoft Windows emulator. 1 in 100 of our customers have run on
the Mac platform since 1997. Parallels (especially in the 'Coherence mode') or VMWare
are both excellent methods of running Okino software natively on the Mac. Please note that
PolyTrans-for-Maya requires a PC version of Maya.
Okino software has been reported to work on Linux using the WINE emulator.
